Our mission is to find loving forever homes for strays and mistreated dogs. We promote awareness in animal welfare and prevent cruelty as well as educate the public about humane treatment of animals and encourage vet care and spay/neutering.
Christiane Dionne, MBA

Christiane is passionate about animal advocacy, community development and proper training methods for our dogs at the rescue. You will often see her out in the field working our dogs or at the top of a mountain. In her spare time, Christiane enjoys advising non profit clients on best business practices and currently shares her home with a Pitbull and Golden Retriever.
Wendee Amero, ARNP

Animal advocacy is so important and has been part of Wendee’s life for close to 10 years. As one of the founding members, Wendee has made it her purpose to connect dogs with their furever families. Wendee is a Family Nurse Practitioner and continues to consult with our board in an Emeritus role.
G. Tom Martinson, BA
Treasurer
Tom is a Dartmouth College graduate with an extensive background in finance and insurance. He has served on several boards with myriad causes and is well versed in capital campaign fundraising. Tom splits his time between Boston and NH and is loved by two southern mystery mutts.

Polly is a graduate of Colby Sawyer College and comes to WWR with a background in fundraising and has served as Trustee on educational boards. She spends a significant amount of time in the rescue space and has been a role model for the volunteers. Polly resides in NH and is loved by two southern mystery mutts that she affectionately calls, “the hillbillies.”
