We have teenage puppies in house…what does that mean exactly?

1) they forget their brains and forget to listen
2) they test boundaries daily
3) their endless shenanigans bring us joy and grey hair
4) they are worthy of love too

From tennis balls to digging holes to peekaboo and peeing at each other for fun (🤢🤢🤢 yup) we are so fortunate that these boys are with us.

Some days rescue is just hard….

We trust our dogs in your hands, it’s hard as a rescue team. We save them, provide hours of care, training, and time into our pups just to hand them over to a complete stranger.

None of our rescue dogs deserve a life in a rescue setting but we make it the best for them as we can.

In this photo, Balty was wet and if you know him, he will melt in water. Wrapped in blankets, a volunteer, who is also a mom and full time nursing student, spent her one free morning with him.

Our volunteers make WWR the best place for animals who do not have a choice ♥️🐾
